RELENTLESS MISSION

November 24th & 25th

Travis annually embraces our community by providing groceries for their Thanksgiving meal.

We need 300 frozen turkeys to include in the Thanksgiving Gift Boxes. Turkey drop-off will be on November 17th and 24th. There will be a truck in the northwest corner of the parking lot by the Children’s building for the turkey drop-off.

We are also providing Thanksgiving groceries for 300 families. Grocery sacks will be placed in the Welcome Center and classrooms with a list of food items to purchase attached. Please return the filled sacks on Sunday, Nov. 17 or Nov. 24 to the orange collection boxes in the Welcome Center and other locations throughout the church.

The Wings Scholarship was formed to enable members of Travis Avenue Baptist Church to serve on a mission trip for a reduced cost. The scholarship depends on giving above and beyond regular tithes and offerings.

To give to the World Missions Offering click HERE.

While we support the mission of God through our yearly budget, we encourage our church members to give above and beyond their tithes and offerings to the World Missions Offering. The monies given go to support Travis Avenue Baptist Church's mission partnerships and the International and North American Mission Boards.

The World Missions Offering allocations are set yearly by the Elders of Travis Avenue to meet our mission partners' ever-changing needs. Currently, the first 50k of the offering is given to Travis Avenue mission partners. Then 70% of the remaining funds are given to the International Mission Board, and 30% to the Annie Armstrong Christmas offering. You may also choose to designate funds within the World Missions Offering to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (IMB) and Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (NAMB), and 100% will go to your directed source.
