Before you fill out the form below, please read through the different opportunities to serve at Travis. Please note that a star (*) signifies that church membership is required to serve in that area or position.

CARE TEAM

At Travis, we believe an important function of the local church is caring for one another. We desire that all who enter our doors feel cared for and welcomed, whether members or not. The Care team seeks to establish care for all, whether it be the first-time guest who needs directions or the home-bound church member who desires to remain a part of their church family.

• GREETING TEAM

  • Serves by holding doors and welcoming members and guests to church

• PARKING LOT TEAM

  • Helps direct guests from guest parking to inside the church. 

• HOSPITALITY TEAM

  • Helps prepare food for those that are ill or are grieving, or large church events.

• PRAYER TEAM*

  • Serve in praying for a variety of things and needs within our church.

• SECURITY TEAM*

  • Our security team serves on Sundays to ensure campus safety.

• TRAVIS @ HOME MINISTRY*

  • Cares for our homebound church members through visits, letters, and phone calls.

CITY TEAM

One of our core values is Relentless Mission, which means that we are relentless in our pursuit to share the Gospel and meet the needs of our city and the nations. The city team does this by partnering with like-minded organizations that meet physical needs and building relationships for long-term spiritual effect.

• COMMUNITY MINISTRIES

  • Community Ministries is responsible for the weekly food drive on Friday mornings.

• FRIENDSHIP HOUSE

  • An outreach opportunity teaching our community members to sew and quilt.

• ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MENTORSHIP*

  • Meet routinely to mentor, tutor, and encourage a FWISD student.

• MERCY CLINIC

  • Volunteers use their gifts to serve as medical professionals, translators, and more as they care for the medical needs of the community.

• GOOD NEWS CLUB*

  • Serve in an after-school elementary program, with a gospel emphasis, in FWISD.

• FORT WORTH PREGNANCY CENTER

  • Volunteers use their gifts and medical experience to serve expecting mothers in need as nurses, client advocates, translators, and through donations, prayer, etc.

GATHER TEAM

The Gather team is essential in coordinating and executing our weekly services and programs. They are vital to our church body’s weekly fellowship, and serve using their gifts in media, music, and more!

• SANCTUARY CHOIR

  • Leads worship through song on Sunday mornings in the Traditional Service.

• SANCTUARY ORCHESTRA

  • Leads worship on Sunday mornings in the Traditional Service.

• PRAISE SINGERS

  • A senior adult choir that sings monthly in the Traditional Service and travels for events.

• LORD’S SUPPER TEAM

  • Aids in setting up for our monthly Lord’s Supper.

• BAPTISMAL MINISTRY TEAM*

  • Assist individuals as they prepare for baptism on the day of.

• PRAISE TEAM

  • Leads worship for our Contemporary Service.

• MEDIA TEAM

  • Runs media (lights, video, lyrics, etc.) on Sunday mornings and for other church programs.

GROW TEAM

At Travis, we understand the importance of continuous discipleship in the lives of every believer, and our Grow team is essential in the spiritual formation of our church. They often lead in bible teaching for all ages, encouraging a right understanding of scripture and helping each person fulfill their place in the local church.

• ADULT SMALL GROUP LEADER*

  • Leads a small group of adults through a book of the Bible or uses a provided curriculum.

• TRAVIS STUDENTS LEADER*

  • Leads in building relationships with and teaching middle and high school students about Christ.

• TRAVIS KIDS LEADER*

  • Serves in caring for and teaching preschool and elementary-aged children.

• FIRST STEPS TEAM*

  • Serves in helping guests take their First Steps in the life of Travis through small groups, church membership, etc.
